UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Testing of Roofing products
Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Based in Northbrook, Illinois, is one of the world's leading product safety testing and
certification group devoted to developing
standards and test procedures for products, materials, components,
assemblies, tools and equipment, chiefly dealing with product safety.
The roofing industry has worked with the UL to develop standards for the safety and effectiveness of roofing products especially in the areas of fire resistance, wind resistance and durability. We have gathered some common UL standards related to roofing products as a resource for our customers.
